Hours of Indoor Fun

Is there anyone in Iowa who isn’t completely bogged down and shut in due to all the rain?  All the parks are flooded, there are small ponds under the swing sets and the slides end in a splash.  Which means a huge dose of cabin fever!

Last weekend my girls got a great gift from my oldest friend: My Very Own House.  It’s a one-piece cardboard playhouse that you can color.  It comes folded and boxed and is (relatively) easy to set up.  I was able to do it myself but it would have been easier with two people.  It also comes with 8 washable markers.

Because it is a play house it does take up quite a bit of space.  But, hey, it keeps my girls busy- they are either goofing around inside it or decorating the outside.

At only $39.90 (including FedEx shipping) this is a BARGAIN for a bit of sanity!
