Hi! I’m Wendy, aka An Iowa Mom. I am the mother of four kiddos, two boys and two girls. Along side my incredible husband, they are the absolute most important people in my world. Many years ago, when my first child was born … we moved to Iowa from Chicago … to settle down and raise a family. Being in a new place, without all my friends, I was lonely. So I created a group on the Internet called “Moms In Iowa”. A wonderful group of mothers came together to form this circle of friends with whom we were able to schedule playdates, days out, evenings out (with no kids), ect. More importantly, we supported one another and offered up comfort and advice when it was needed most. It was then that I envisioned “IowaMoms.com” … but with four little kids … there was just no time to dedicate the time it would take and deserved … to create it. Until now.
